Vehicle catches fire on Limassol-Nicosia highway

On the evening of Sunday, May 31, a vehicle caught fire while traveling on the Limassol-Nicosia highway. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. between the Nicosia orbital exit and the Latsia weighing station. Members of the Fire Department and the Police arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and manage traffic. The vehicle was completely destroyed and moved to the safety lane to await removal.
