Tufan Erhurman criticizes Cyprus's security partnerships ahead of UN envoy's visit

In response to these remarks, the Greek Cypriot political party EDEK issued a statement condemning Erhurman's stance and describing him as an instrument of Ankara. EDEK urged the Greek Cypriot side to adjust its political strategy in upcoming negotiations, emphasizing that the sovereign rights of the Republic of Cyprus cannot be subject to external approval.
