Kataklysmos festival held in Larnaca

The Kataklysmos festival is taking place in Larnaca from Friday until Wednesday, June 3. The event features a diverse artistic program across four stages, including the Finikoudes beach, Europe Square, and the Medieval Castle area. Highlights include concerts by artists such as Panos Kiamos, Andromachi, and Katerina Lioliou, alongside traditional dance, poetry competitions, and theatrical performances. The schedule includes a national beach volleyball championship and open-sea boat races. For safety reasons and following recommendations from the Civil Aviation Authority, fireworks have been excluded from the program for the first time. Visitors can utilize a new free Park and Ride service implemented during the festivities. Additionally, the Famagusta district saw increased domestic tourism in Ayia Napa and Protaras over the holiday weekend, supporting the local economy.
