Fire service rescues two people from vehicle in Troodos

On the afternoon of the previous day, the Fire Service responded to an incident at Almyrolivado in Troodos involving a private vehicle. The vehicle became immobilized in a precarious and slanted position near the edge of the road, prompting the two occupants to call for assistance. Firefighters were notified at 17:42 and dispatched four fire trucks to the scene. Emergency personnel successfully secured the vehicle using a winch and towed it to a safe location. Both individuals inside the vehicle remained unharmed during the process. No injuries were reported, and the operation concluded with the successful extraction of the vehicle and passengers.
