Anti-corruption authority to release findings on the Kratos Mafia book by June 15
Transparency Commissioner Charis Poyiatzis announced that the Anti-Corruption Authority will issue its findings regarding the investigation into the book Kratos Mafia no later than June 15, 2026. This timeline follows an earlier statement from May 5 that suggested the announcement might occur anytime before the end of June due to the vast volume of material. The final report from four inspection officers was submitted electronically by the April 30 deadline. The investigation involved 214 hearings, testimony from 150 individuals, and the collection of 793 pieces of evidence from 41 legal entities and government departments. The complete report, including attachments, spans approximately 3,000 pages. To prepare for the final announcement, a special working group has been established to review and evaluate the findings according to statutory procedures. Commissioner Poyiatzis noted that all other ongoing cases handled by the Authority have been suspended to prioritize the completion of this specific investigation. All current processes remain strictly confidential.
