Aris Limassol extends contract with goalkeeper Vana Alves

Aris Limassol has officially announced the extension of Brazilian goalkeeper Vana Alves's contract for an additional one-year term. Alves originally joined the club in July 2021 and has completed five seasons with the team. During his tenure, he has recorded 179 appearances across all competitions, which is the highest number of appearances for any player in the history of the club. The goalkeeper has maintained a clean sheet in 69 of those matches, reflecting a success rate of 38.5 percent. Additionally, Alves holds the distinction of being the only player to have participated in all 18 European matches played by Aris Limassol. His contributions include winning the league championship in the 2022-23 season and the Super Cup in 2023. This upcoming season will mark his sixth year with the Limassol-based side.
