EY Cyprus appoints two new partners to its leadership team
EY Cyprus has announced the promotion of Antonis Josephakis and Simos Simou to the position of Partner within the firm. The announcement was made by Ronald Attard, the Country Managing Partner of EY Cyprus. Antonis Josephakis joined the company in 2013 and brings 13 years of experience in assurance services, particularly within the financial services sector. He has led audits for major banking and insurance institutions in Cyprus and currently heads the Digital Assurance implementation for the firm. Josephakis holds a BSc from the University of Cyprus and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Cyprus (ICPAC). Simos Simou has been appointed to lead the Tax Controversy and Green Taxation practice. His professional focus lies in tax and environmental law. The move is described by the firm as part of a strategic effort to invest in its workforce and strengthen its future leadership.
