AEK Larnaca signs defender Zakarias Adoni and goalkeeper Vedad Muftic

AEK Larnaca has finalized agreements to sign defender Zakarias Adoni and goalkeeper Vedad Muftic, both on two-year contracts. Adoni, a Cypriot central defender formerly with Apollon, is scheduled to undergo medical and ergometric examinations on Monday, June 8, 2026, to complete his transfer. Muftic, a 24-year-old Bosnian goalkeeper arriving from Zeljeznicar Sarajevo, has officially passed his medical tests and signed his contract with the club. While Adoni’s background includes playing for APOEL, Doxa, Nea Salamina, and Ethnikos Achnas, Muftic makes his first career move outside of Bosnia. Additionally, the club announced contract extensions for goalkeeper Andreas Paraskevas and midfielder Giorgos Naoum for the next two years. The team is also currently negotiating a transfer for Bulgarian midfielder Ivan Pankov from Krasava ENY Ypsonas. The club remains in pending discussions regarding the future of player Pere Pons.
