Cultural events and academic conferences in Cyprus for June 2026

The AntiLogos Theater in Nicosia presents the play "I Plateia" starting June 3, 2026, at Kyriakou Karaoli Square, with additional performances throughout June. Simultaneously, the play "The Man Who Broke the Code," directed by Eleni Anastasiou, is showing at the Melina Merkouri Hall. The 25th Pharos International Chamber Music Festival is taking place from May 29 to June 4 at the Medieval Manor in Kouklia, featuring over 20 internationally renowned soloists including Finghin Collins and Sharon Kam. A two-day academic conference titled "Cyprus – Europe: Reciprocal relations in literature" will be held on June 3 at the Hero's Hall of the EOKA Struggle Historical Memory Council, co-organized by EPOK and OLK. The conference will feature various speakers, including Chloe Veriti and Ioannis Yiangou. Furthermore, a Leventis Gallery event will address the 35th anniversary of excavations at the Tombs of the Kings in Paphos.
