Toyota Gazoo Racing achieves top four sweep at Rally Japan

At the Rally Japan event, the Toyota Gazoo Racing World Rally Team secured the top four finishing positions. Welsh driver Elfyn Evans, paired with co-driver Scott Martin, won the rally, marking his 13th WRC career victory and his 50th career podium. This result also marks his third victory in Japan over the last four years. Following his win, Evans extended his lead in the driver championship standings to 20 points. Sébastien Ogier and co-driver Vincent Landais finished in second place, trailing the winners by 12.8 seconds. Sami Pajari and co-driver Marko Salminen completed the podium in third place, marking their fifth podium finish in their last six competitions. The event took place on demanding asphalt stages, with Evans establishing an early lead on the Isegami’s Tunnel special stage.
