Olympiacos and Panathinaikos begin the Stoiximan GBL final series

The final series of the 2025-26 Stoiximan GBL season begins tonight at 21:00 at the Peace and Friendship Stadium (SEF), featuring rivals Olympiacos and Panathinaikos. This marks the fifth consecutive season these two teams have met in the finals. Olympiacos enters the series with home-court advantage, having maintained an undefeated 24-0 record in the regular season and sweeping both Kolossos and AEK in the playoffs. Head coach Georgios Bartzokas will be without Dorsey, who is sidelined due to tendinitis. Panathinaikos finished the regular season in second place with a 19-5 record, advancing through the playoffs by defeating Mykonos and PAOK with 2-0 series sweeps. The final series will be decided based on a best-of-five format, requiring three wins to secure the title. Olympiacos is currently undefeated in the domestic league since May 30, 2025.
