Worker dies in industrial accident in Paphos

On Tuesday, June 2, a 21-year-old Pakistani national died in an industrial accident in the Paphos district. The worker, who resided in Nicosia, was performing tasks in an outdoor area when he was crushed by glass panes. Authorities arrested his 56-year-old employer to facilitate the investigation. The suspect, a Greek national, reportedly claimed that it was the victim's first day of work. Police sources indicated that the employer may have been operating a forklift at the time of the accident.
