Nea Salamina interested in Russian winger Stepan Oganesyan
The Cypriot club Nea Salamina is reportedly interested in signing 24-year-old Russian winger Stepan Oganesyan. Oganesyan, who is of Armenian descent, is a graduate of the Spartak Moscow academy and has represented Russia at various youth international levels. He joined FC Orenburg in 2022, initially on loan, before the club finalized a permanent transfer for approximately 500,000 euros. The player has recorded 61 appearances in the Russian Premier League, though he was excluded from team plans during the second half of the current season. Reports indicate that while Nea Salamina has scouted the player, financial discrepancies are currently hindering the completion of a deal. Oganesyan is currently considered a free agent, and other clubs are also reportedly monitoring his situation. He is capable of playing on both wings of the attacking line.
