Four individuals sentenced for sexual exploitation in Limassol

The Criminal Court of Limassol has sentenced four individuals for human trafficking and sexual exploitation. The crimes were committed between August 2022 and May 2023. Two 34-year-old defendants received five-year prison sentences. A 29-year-old individual was sentenced to 18 months, while a 50-year-old individual received a 9-month sentence. The case involved a 24-year-old female victim who was identified following an investigation by the Anti-Trafficking Office. The investigation concluded that all four defendants were responsible for the victim's exploitation. These rulings follow the formal finding of guilt by the court regarding the human trafficking charges.
