Ministry of Energy announces grant schemes for business trade fair participation

The Cypriot Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry has introduced three new 'De Minimis' grant schemes with a total budget of €1,700,000 for the period 2024-2026. Approved by the Council of Ministers on May 19, 2026, upon the proposal of Minister Michalis Damianou, the initiative targets businesses in the industrial, agricultural, and service sectors. The funding supports private participation in trade fairs held in Cyprus and abroad, including virtual events and business conferences. Applications for the schemes are open from June 3 to July 15, 2026. The grants cover eligible actions occurring in 2026, while also providing retroactive support for participants who met the criteria during 2024 and 2025. The stated objective of this program is to increase the extroversion of local businesses and boost national exports.
