Dimitris Papadakis to take legal action following investigation into Sandy case

Former Member of the European Parliament Dimitris Papadakis has announced plans to initiate legal proceedings against journalist Makarios Drousiotis and other potentially involved parties. This follows the conclusion of a police investigation into the so-called 'Sandy' case, which determined that messages implicating Papadakis in deceptive conversations were fabricated. Papadakis maintains that he is the victim of a political conspiracy. He has consistently asserted since the beginning of the controversy that the messages were falsified and unrelated to reality. The former MEP emphasized his commitment to safeguarding his reputation and dignity. He is currently consulting with his lawyers to pursue those responsible for creating and distributing the fraudulent content. Papadakis expects the police investigation to continue until all individuals involved in the alleged scheme are identified.
