Dusan Vlahovic to leave Juventus following contract dispute
Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic will depart Juventus after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract. Negotiations collapsed over salary terms, with reports suggesting Vlahovic requested 8 million euros per year plus bonuses, while Juventus CEO Comoli offered 6 million euros. The player's current contract expires on June 30, and he will become a free agent on July 1. Vlahovic joined Juventus four years ago for a transfer fee of 85 million euros from Fiorentina. During his tenure, he recorded 68 goals and 16 assists in 168 appearances. Juventus is now expected to adjust its transfer strategy to search for two new forwards this summer. Italian manager Luciano Spalletti has expressed concern regarding the departure, acknowledging the importance of the striker to the team.
