Anorthosis Famagusta board transition finalized
Yiannis Pieras, the outgoing vice president of Anorthosis Famagusta, has published a review of his 20-month tenure on the club's board of directors. The announcement comes shortly before the general assembly scheduled for this Friday. During this meeting, the administration will be officially transferred to the group led by Dinos Toumazis. Pieras characterized his term as one of the most challenging periods in the club's post-1974 history. He acknowledged that while the board faced significant difficulties, they worked to stabilize the club. He also admitted that mistakes were made during their governance but expressed pride in the club's current outlook. The upcoming transition is intended to provide a fresh start for the team's management.
