Pafos FC extends contract with manager Ricardo Sa Pinto
Pafos FC has officially announced the contract extension of Portuguese manager Ricardo Sa Pinto for the 2026/27 season. Under his leadership, the club successfully secured the Cyprus Cup title, a significant achievement that also granted them a spot in the UEFA Europa League qualifiers. While initial reports highlighted uncertainty regarding his tenure, the club confirmed the agreement, citing his professionalism and vision as key factors in the decision. In addition to coaching changes, the team is undergoing a roster restructuring, confirming the departure of several players including Neofytos Michail, Vilmer Odefalk, Ognjen Mimovic, Dani Silva, Athanasios Papadoudis, and Kostas Pileas. Conversely, goalkeeper Charalampos Kyriakidis has been signed to bolster the squad. The club also confirmed a new five-year broadcasting deal with CYTA for all home matches starting next season.
