Mateusz Musialowski faces uncertain future at Omonoia
Polish winger Mateusz Musialowski, who is under contract with Omonoia for one more year, is likely to depart the club. The 22-year-old was acquired from Liverpool U21 in summer 2024 but failed to secure a regular spot in the squad. Throughout the season, he made only three appearances: one in the Conference League qualifiers against Araz, one in the league opener against Ethnikos, and one against Omonoia Aradippou in December. Manager Henning Berg effectively removed him from his tactical plans early in the season, frequently excluding him from matchday squads. His stay is further complicated by the fact that he turns 23 in October, meaning he would occupy a spot on the club's 'List A' roster, which entails higher requirements and increased competition. Club management is expected to formalize his exit, either through a contract termination or a loan agreement.
