Stevan Jovetic reportedly intends to continue his career in Cyprus

Partizan Belgrade president Rasim Ljajic has publicly addressed the status of Montenegrin striker Stevan Jovetic. During a recent podcast appearance, Ljajic revealed that the 36-year-old player has declined an offer to join Partizan. The proposed deal would have seen Jovetic play for one season followed by a transition into the role of sports director. Instead, Jovetic expressed a desire to remain in Cyprus for another year and confirmed that he has received concrete offers from local clubs. The player is reportedly willing to accept a reduction in salary to secure a move to an environment with professional goals and a significant role. This comes after Jovetic concluded his tenure with Omonia Nicosia after two years. While the player is currently exploring options in Cyprus, he is not seeking a return to his previous club, Omonia.
