AEK Athens in advanced talks to extend Marko Nikolic's contract
AEK Athens is reportedly near an agreement to extend the contract of head coach Marko Nikolic until the summer of 2029. The Serbian manager is currently under contract with the club until 2027. Negotiations are being handled by club owner Marios Iliopoulos and director Javier Ribalta, with reports suggesting a positive atmosphere in the discussions. Although initial talks centered on a 2028 extension, the club management pushed for a longer commitment. Nikolic has expressed his desire to remain with the team for the long term.
