Cypriot Finance Minister meets European Investment Bank Vice President

Cypriot Minister of Finance Makis Keravnos met with Marek Mora, Vice President of the European Investment Bank (EIB), during Mora's first official visit to Cyprus. The meeting took place in Nicosia, coinciding with the Informal Meeting of Ministers responsible for Cohesion Policy. Marek Mora, a former Deputy Finance Minister of the Czech Republic, assumed his role in October 2025, succeeding the Cypriot Vice President Kyriacos Kakouris. Mora currently represents Cyprus and five other member states on the EIB's Board of Directors. The discussion focused on the long-term cooperation between the EIB and the Republic of Cyprus. The two officials reviewed current financial programs and the progress of ongoing development projects. Additionally, they examined the outlook and priorities for the EIB's future investment portfolio in Cyprus.
