Pafos municipality and Pasyxe discuss city infrastructure and tourism development

Representatives from the Pafos Municipality and the Pafos Hotel Association (Pasyxe) held a meeting to coordinate efforts regarding the city's tourism development. The acting mayor of Pafos, Angelos Onisiforou, attended the discussions along with hotel industry representatives. Primary topics included the improvement of cleanliness and the aesthetic quality of public spaces. A significant portion of the meeting focused on the planned construction of breakwaters along the coastal front. Hotel representatives requested that the construction schedule be managed to minimize negative impacts on the tourism season and visitor experience. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to collaborative infrastructure projects to boost the city's competitiveness. The private sector expressed readiness to contribute actively to initiatives aimed at improving the city's overall image and functionality.
