Konia road construction works to conclude following one-week closure
On Thursday, representatives from the Paphos municipality, civil engineering officials, and the project contractor met at Paphos City Hall to coordinate the final phase of road construction in Konia. The project, which has caused traffic disruptions for local residents and motorists over the past five months, will see a temporary full closure for one week. This measure is intended to allow crews to complete the remaining technical interventions. Once finished, the road is scheduled to reopen as a two-way route. The municipality stated that the primary objective is to restore normal traffic flow and ensure the road is safe and fully operational. Authorities plan to provide public notice regarding the exact dates and hours of the closure to minimize inconvenience. The coordination between municipal services and the contractor aims to prevent further delays in the delivery of the project.
