Missing person reports in Cyprus

Cypriot authorities have issued alerts regarding two missing elderly men. Costas Charitou, aged 70, has been missing from his residence in Limassol since June 4, 2026. He is described as 1.75 meters tall with white hair and brown eyes, last seen wearing a blue sweater, white undershirt, jeans, and white shoes. Information regarding his whereabouts should be directed to the Limassol CID at 25-805057. Separately, a 77-year-old man was reported missing from his home in Nicosia. Authorities initially requested public assistance via the Nicosia CID at 22-802222 or the Citizen Line at 1460. Police later confirmed that the 77-year-old individual has been located. Members of the public can continue to contact the Citizen Line at 1460 for any relevant information.
