Ministry of education announces digital registration updates for 2026-2027 primary school year

The Ministry of Education, Sports and Youth has introduced the eDEA system for confirming primary school registrations for the 2026-2027 academic year as part of its digital modernization project. Parents with active accounts on the platform will receive notification via the portal at https://edea.schools.ac.cy and email on June 15, 2026. For students in grades A to F whose parents have set up a CY-Login profile, the confirmation will be handled digitally. Parents without platform access will have their child's registration for grades A and B confirmed via telephone by the school. No telephone confirmation is required for grades C through F, as that specific process was completed between April 21 and April 24, 2026. Should parents receive incorrect information or fail to receive a notification, they are instructed to contact the respective school to resolve the issue. The initiative reflects a shift toward digital governance to streamline administrative procedures for both guardians and academic institutions.
