Development project The Rocks initiated in Pentakomo

The DRL5COMOS Properties Ltd company has submitted an environmental impact assessment for 'The Rocks', a tourism development project located at Argaki tou Mavrou in Pentakomo, Limassol. The proposal covers a 34,714-square-metre site on Poseidonos Street, which will include a luxury hotel, 26 villas, 73 apartments, and a beach service area. To facilitate construction, existing structures including the Kalymnos fish tavern, the Palm Beach – Kalymnos bar facilities, and portions of a local camping site will be demolished. The project design allocates 3,871 square metres for public green space and 2,456 square metres for internal road infrastructure, resulting in a net development area of 28,387 square metres. The environmental study, prepared by P. Nikolaidis & Associates Ltd, is currently undergoing a public consultation process. Stakeholders, local authorities, and the public may submit comments until July 3, 2026. The approval of the master plan represents the primary regulatory requirement for the project to proceed. According to the preliminary timeline, the development is scheduled to become fully operational by 2029.
