Drug seizure and investigation into counterfeit driver's licenses in Kyrenia

Authorities in Kyrenia conducted a police operation resulting in the seizure of over 9 kilograms of narcotics, including 9 kilograms and 23 grams of cannabis and 300 grams of cocaine. During the raid, officials also confiscated 6,275 Turkish Lira, 200 euros in cash, and a packing machine. Two suspects, aged 28 and 24, were arrested and remain in custody. Separately, in a parallel investigation regarding counterfeit driver's licenses, the total number of arrests in Kyrenia has reached 15. Among those detained is a local driving school owner, with documents belonging to 20 individuals currently under examination. During a court hearing, several suspects confessed to purchasing the fraudulent documents. Seven suspects involved in the license case were remanded in custody for an additional day.
