Dani Carvajal to depart Real Madrid after 13 years
Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal will leave the club at the end of the month after a 13-year tenure with the senior team. The 34-year-old right-back has reportedly decided not to renew his contract following a season hampered by injuries and a loss of his starting position. According to Spanish newspaper Marca, Carvajal has reached an agreement to join the Italian club Como. The player, who has secured 27 titles with Real Madrid including six Champions League trophies, has been part of the club since joining their academy, La Fabrica, 24 years ago. He is expected to join the squad led by Cesc Fabregas. While some reports suggest he is joining Como following their success in qualifying for the Champions League, it is noted that the move marks a significant transition for the veteran player. Carvajal concludes his time with the Spanish giants as one of the most decorated players in the club's history.
