Cyprus participates in Posidonia 2026 shipping exhibition

Deputy Minister of Shipping Marina Hadjimanolis represented Cyprus at the Posidonia 2026 maritime exhibition in Athens from May 31 to June 5. The Deputy Ministry maintained a pavilion for the Cyprus Ship Registry and hosted a reception for industry professionals to promote the sector. During the event, Hadjimanolis held meetings with delegations from South Africa and the Republic of Korea to discuss maritime cooperation. On June 2, the minister attended the ceremony marking the listing of Safe Bulkers Inc. shares on the Euronext Athens exchange. Throughout the exhibition, she engaged with various shipping companies and owners to address industry challenges and strengthen ties. Hadjimanolis emphasized the resilience of the global shipping sector and expressed gratitude to the industry for its continued trust in the Cyprus Registry.
