Cypriot football clubs prepare for European qualifying rounds
Cypriot football clubs have learned their opponents for the upcoming European qualification rounds. Omonia will face either Kairat Almaty or Sutjeska in the Champions League, with matches scheduled for July 21-22. AEK Larnaca is set to play Beitar Jerusalem in the Conference League on July 23 in Cyprus and July 30 in Ploiesti, Romania. Pafos FC will compete against the winner of Hajduk Split and Zilina in the Europa League, playing away on July 23 and at home on July 30. Apollon Limassol will face either Dila Gori or Virtus in the Conference League, with matches also on July 23 and July 30. Omonia has officially begun its pre-season, including medical checks on June 19 and training in Kyperounta from June 22 to 26. The team will hold a training camp in Kielce, Poland, from June 29 to July 10, featuring friendly matches against Dinamo Bucuresti (July 2), Hapoel Beer Sheva (July 5), and Korona Kielce (July 9). Omonia is also actively seeking to strengthen its roster, with defender Igor Silva being a primary transfer target.
