Omonia adds Lois Diony to squad as Pafos finalizes roster for European matches
Omonia Nicosia has officially registered French forward Lois Diony, also known as Lois Jeunis, for their upcoming Champions League second qualifying round matches against Kairat Almaty. Diony, who previously scored against Kairat while playing for Red Star Belgrade in 2021, is currently undergoing an adjustment period, making his participation in Wednesday's match at GSP Stadium uncertain. Head coach Henning Berg is also managing defensive absences, with Oduwajo potentially unavailable and Nego lacking match fitness. Simultaneously, Pafos FC has submitted its Europa League squad list for the second qualifying round against Hajduk Split. Manager Ricardo Sa Pinto has until 24 hours before kickoff to make up to two changes. Notable roster members include goalkeeper Radoslaw Majecki and forward Bruno, while Correia was excluded due to injury. The team is currently assessing its goalkeeping options among Papastylianou, Kyriakides, and Majecki to determine the starter.
