Omonia begins summer training in Kyperounta as Apollon starts ticket sales
Omonia Nicosia has officially begun its summer training sessions for the 2026-27 season, with the squad assembling in Kyperounta for the initial phase. The team will remain in the mountainous resort until June 26 before traveling to Kielce, Poland, for the primary training stage starting June 29. Head coach Henning Berg is currently integrating the squad, though several international players including Uzoho, Fabiano, and Andronikos Kakoullis were absent from the first session. The club is actively pursuing reinforcements, specifically targeting a right-back, with negotiations for Slovenian defender Zan Karnicnik reported as advanced. Meanwhile, Omonia is preparing for its 49th UEFA campaign, starting in the second qualifying round of the Champions League. Concurrently, Apollon Limassol announced that season ticket sales for the 2026-27 season commence today, June 22, via their online platform in three phases. Apollon’s ticket packages include league matches, a trial match on July 16 at the Alphamega Stadium, and the club's first historic European home match at that venue.
