Omonia close to signing Jayden Montnor from Aris Limassol

Omonia Nicosia is in advanced negotiations to acquire 23-year-old Surinamese winger Jayden Montnor from Aris Limassol. The deal is nearing completion, with reports indicating that only procedural steps remain before official announcements. Omonia president Stavros Papastavrou confirmed the club is close to a new signing, and coach Henning Berg has approved the move to bolster the team's attacking lineup. The acquisition is intended to strengthen the squad for the upcoming season, including European competitions and the club's goal of reaching the Champions League league phase. The club clarified that the potential arrival of Montnor is independent of the ongoing contract situation with Willy Semedo.
