Omonia football club updates from Poland training camp
Omonia is currently conducting its pre-season training in Kielce, Poland, entering its fourth day of preparation. Head coach Henning Berg has emphasized that the upcoming ten days will be the most demanding phase of the camp as the team prepares for European qualification matches. The club recently played its first friendly match against Dinamo București, ending in a 2-1 victory, where 21 players received playing time to test team structure. Omonia is actively searching for a new forward to replace Ryan Mmaee, whose departure is considered a significant loss for the squad. Furthermore, the club is prioritizing strengthening the right side of its defense. Plans for a final pre-season friendly have also been reported, with Omonia scheduled to face Panetolikos, managed by Giannis Anastasiou, at GSP Stadium on July 16 at 20:00. The team continues to evaluate its roster as it approaches the second qualifying round of the Champions League.
