Omonia transfers Ryan Mmaee to Atlas as team begins training in Poland
Omonia Nicosia is in the final stages of selling forward Ryan Mmaee to the Mexican club Atlas. The deal is reported to be worth approximately 3 million euros, making it the most expensive sale in the club's history. Mmaee, who scored 25 goals and provided 12 assists last season, has traveled to Mexico for medical examinations. His departure follows the exit of Willie Semedo, leaving the club's management to find replacements before the Champions League qualifying round begins on July 22. Club president Stavros Papastavrou is tasked with reinvesting these funds to strengthen the squad. Meanwhile, the team has arrived in Kielce, Poland, for their main pre-season camp, which will last until July 10 under the guidance of coach Henning Berg. The club is also finalizing the return of Andronikos Kakoullis and pursuing other high-quality signings to remain competitive.
