Larnaca municipal authorities and Cyprus Public Transport review Park & Ride pilot results

Over 1,000 citizens and visitors utilized the Park & Ride service during the Kataklysmos festival on Sunday and Monday, contributing to traffic regulation in Larnaca's city center. Following the event, representatives from the Municipality of Larnaca and Cyprus Public Transport held a meeting to evaluate the pilot program. The municipal delegation included Deputy Mayor Iason Iasonidis, Municipal Councilors Andreas Morfitis and Andreas Kafkalias, Municipal Secretary Andreas Louka, and Municipal Engineer Neofytoulla Angelidou. Representing Cyprus Public Transport were Andreas Ioannou and Theoklitos Papadopoulos. The participants reviewed the pilot's performance and discussed strategies to promote public transport use among residents. The municipality stated that the collaboration aims to enhance public familiarity with mass transit systems.
