Student housing startup MyStudentFlat raises 200,000 euros in crowdfunding

The student housing platform MyStudentFlat has secured 200,000 euros in investment capital within two weeks of launching a crowdfunding campaign on the Crowdbase platform. The company aims to reach a total of 500,000 euros by the end of June to support its expansion in Cyprus and Greece. Operating for 11 months, the firm maintains a portfolio of over 60 furnished apartments across Nicosia, Limassol, and Athens. MyStudentFlat provides an online booking service for student housing, citing a growing European market demand driven by the internationalization of higher education. Current annual rental revenues for the company are reported to exceed 530,000 euros. The platform stated that this fundraising effort is among the fastest recorded for crowdfunding in Cyprus. The investment will fund the company’s next growth phase in the region. The company intends to address the ongoing shortage of quality student accommodation near university campuses.
