Lifeguards rescue 14-year-old girl in Limassol

On Thursday, June 4, at approximately 2:00 PM, a 14-year-old girl was involved in a near-drowning incident in Limassol, Cyprus. The event occurred near breakwaters located by the Famagusta Nautical Club. Lifeguards patrolling the area observed the teenager struggling in the water after she was swept away by waves. They successfully reached her and brought her safely to the shore. Upon arrival on land, the girl received first aid and oxygen from the responders. She sustained only minor abrasions on her legs and did not require hospital transport. Medical professionals and rescuers confirmed she is in good health and not in danger.
