Dog adoption event to be held at Limassol Municipal Garden on June 14

The Limassol Municipality Animal Welfare Committee is organizing a dog adoption event titled 'Love Without Limits – Adopt a Friend' on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The event will take place at the Limassol Municipal Garden tennis court from 15:00 to 19:00. This event was originally scheduled for May 3 but was postponed due to weather conditions. The primary objective is to promote responsible pet ownership and facilitate the adoption of rescue dogs. Attendees can meet dogs seeking homes and receive information regarding animal care. The program includes children's activities such as magic shows, painting, pottery, crafts, and face painting, as well as a dance performance by the Maria Diamantidou Dance School. The Open School of the Limassol Municipality (Mesa Geitonia – Tserkez Tsiflik) will also participate in the event. Additionally, the program features a live broadcast with Kanali 6.
