A series of earthquakes hit northern Evia, Greece, starting on the afternoon of Sunday, June 7, 2026. The initial tremors measured 4.8 and 5.2 on the Richter scale, centered near Prokopi at depths ranging between 12 and 14 kilometers. A follow-up tremor measuring 4.3 occurred early Monday morning at 05:13, with depth estimates varying between 5 and 9 kilometers.
