Reported drone strikes in Zaporizhzhia and Crimea on June 8

On June 8, two separate drone strikes were reported in Ukraine and Russian-annexed Crimea. In Zaporizhzhia, a Russian drone strike on a bus stop resulted in at least two fatalities and 15 injuries, as confirmed by regional official Ivan Fedorov. Simultaneously, authorities in Crimea reported that a Ukrainian drone targeted a passenger train traveling from Moscow to Simferopol. According to the head of the Crimean administration, Sergey Aksyonov, the assistant train driver was killed and the lead driver was injured in the incident. No passengers were reported injured in the train attack. The exact location of the train strike was not disclosed. Both incidents occurred within the context of the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
