Aris Limassol signs defender Alexander Martynov

Aris Limassol has officially announced the acquisition of the 21-year-old Russian central defender Alexander Martynov. Born on June 15, 2004, the player has signed a three-year contract that keeps him at the club until the summer of 2029. Martynov, who stands 1.95 meters tall, previously played for Serik Spor A.S. in the second tier of Turkish football, where he recorded 34 appearances, one goal, and four assists. A product of the BATE Borisov youth academy, he made his professional debut in 2022 and accumulated 76 appearances, three goals, and five assists for the Belarusian club. Internationally, he has represented the Belarus U19 national team four times. While reports vary slightly on the timeline of his scouting, it is confirmed that he joins Aris following his tenure in Turkey.
