On Saturday, a shooting incident occurred on Troost Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, leaving nine adults with non-life-threatening injuries. Police arrived at the scene following reports of gunfire and observed crowds dispersing from the area. The incident took place approximately four miles from the Swope Soccer Village, which is designated as the training site for the England team during the upcoming World Cup. England’s national team has not yet arrived in Kansas City and is scheduled to play a friendly match against Costa Rica in Orlando, Florida, on Wednesday.
