Update on football club preparations and recent transfers in Cyprus
APOEL Nicosia has begun preparations for the 2026-2027 season under coach Nikos Papadopoulos and Zisis Vryzas. The team will train in Cyprus and the Netherlands, with seven friendly matches scheduled. APOEL also announced the signing of 22-year-old Cypriot player Nikolas Angelopoulos and the acquisition of Greek winger Dimitris Limnios from Panathinaikos. Meanwhile, AEL Limassol announced their training program starting July 9, 2026, including an August camp in Poland and eight friendly matches.
