Drug trafficking arrests in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki

Police authorities in Greece conducted two separate operations involving drug trafficking. On June 6, officers from the Polygyros department arrested a foreign national in Thessaloniki, seizing 383.1 grams of cocaine from his vehicle and an additional 4.9 grams of cocaine and 3.8 grams of cannabis from his residence, along with 14,520 euros. In a separate operation reported by police in Oraiokastro, four individuals aged 22 to 29 were arrested, with a 26-year-old woman also facing charges for involvement in a criminal group. During searches in Toumpa, Neochorouda, and Dendropotamos on June 5, police recovered cocaine, 1.83 kilograms of cannabis, 2,260 euros, weapons, and surveillance equipment. The suspects have been referred to the public prosecutor. Vehicles and mobile phones used in both cases were confiscated. The two reports detail distinct police interventions against drug-related criminal activities in the wider Thessaloniki region.
