Cyprus chamber of commerce announces 9th annual youth entrepreneurship awards
The Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) has opened the application process for the 'Ge’ neo Epicheirein' youth entrepreneurship awards. This marks the ninth consecutive year the awards, held under the auspices of President Nikos Christodoulides, have been organized. Eligible candidates must be under 40 years old, including both self-made entrepreneurs and successors in family-owned businesses. The awards cover seven categories: commercial enterprises, industrial enterprises, services, tourism, shipping, research/innovation/technology, and arts/culture. Starting in 2026, a new category for young diaspora entrepreneurs based in Greece or the United Kingdom has been added. A special committee from the CCCI will evaluate candidates based on criteria such as business performance, innovation, and social responsibility. The initiative aims to recognize and support the entrepreneurial efforts of the younger generation in Cyprus and abroad.
