Soprano Aida Garifullina to perform in Cyprus for the first time

Soprano Aida Garifullina is scheduled to perform for the first time in Cyprus on October 9 and 10, 2026. The concerts will take place at the Ancient Theatre of Kourion. Garifullina will be accompanied by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra under the direction of conductor Myron Michailidis. The performances will also feature tenor Kirill Sikora and baritone Semyon Antakov. Garifullina, an Operalia winner and Decca Records artist, has performed at global venues including the Vienna State Opera, La Scala, and the Metropolitan Opera. During the 2025/2026 season, she holds roles at the Royal Opera House in London and the Opéra de Paris. Her career includes a notable 2018 performance at the FIFA World Cup opening ceremony in Moscow alongside Robbie Williams.
