Recent traffic accidents and road maintenance updates in Cyprus

On June 13, 2026, a serious collision occurred on the Omodos-Mandria road in the Limassol district, involving a 73-year-old man and a 36-year-old man with a 35-year-old passenger. All three were hospitalised at Limassol General Hospital with non-life-threatening but serious injuries, including various fractures. Police are investigating the causes of this accident. Additionally, a minor accident involving only material damage occurred on the Paphos-Limassol motorway near the tunnel on June 12, causing temporary lane closures.
